Dairy Transport Logistics (DTL) is truly New Zealand's largest specialist third party logistics provider of dairy and related produce, and Fonterra's preferred road transport provider. DTL coordinates transportation for the whole supply chain of finished product, imported and local ingredients as well as packaging. These goods are carried on pallets and ISO containers.
Our national network of carriers provide solutions for various packaging formats at ambient, chilled and frozen temperatures from Northland down to South Port in Bluff, covering any mode of transport; by road, rail, sea or air.
DTL has over 1226 drivers nationwide - all inducted and able to carry dairy related products - and over 76 transport related companies covering all modes of transport included in our Risk Management Program.
